RichardCou
Any idea why a perfectly good looking telephone number that works with another family member (ie . me) would keep preventing netfile. The numbers have been changed using different keypads. I erase all data in the fields in case there was an invisible one. It is driving me nuts. This program usually works well. I Also tried to save and reopen. Nothing works it keeps saying error because of the telephone numbers Anybody with the same telephone number problem it is only for wife's Quebec return, my return works fine. Geo123
Hello RichardCou, If you are getting a reject from Revenu Québec regarding an invalid telephone number, please follow the steps below: Go to your spouse's "Interview" section. On the "Spouse Identification" page, answer "Yes but different phone number" to the question “Do you have the same address as your spouse?” Click "Next" at the bottom of the page. Enter your phone number in the "At home" field. Leave the other fields blank. Then try to submit your tax return again. RichardCou
RichardCou
Thank you for your post, It is not Revenu Québec but Ufile that was blocking netfile.... I changed the phone number to Home from Cellular and left the others blank. IT WORKED THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Have a great day and thanks again. LCS314
@Geo123 Thank you for the solution! I was having the same issue and your steps fixed it. It must be a new "feature" this year.
