Jan 24, 2023 ...Line 31270 – Home buyers' amount, you can claim up to $10,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home in 2022

It states on the CRA Website that the Home Buyers' Amount increased to $10,000.00 for qualifying homes purchased in 2022.  Has this change been made to the program?  If not, will CRA amend it from $5,000. to $10,000. automatically?

From the CRA Webiste: 

Jan 24, 2023 ...Line 31270 – Home buyers' amount Note: You can claim up to $10,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home in 2022 if both of the following apply: You (or your spouse or common-law partner) acquired a qualifying home You did not live in another home that you (or your spouse or common-law partner) owned.

Please verify that your UFile Windows software is up to date :

I just noticed that although it states that the amount cannot exceed $5,000.00, you are able to enter $10,000.00 and it calculates correctly.
