Is the middle name required in the identification

I am adding my child who were born in 2023 to my tax return, my child has a middle name but in the identification section, there are only boxes for first and last name. Do I need to enter my child's middle name in the first name section as well?

Hello Patty Fu,

If you have a middle name, please enter it, as the CRA requires it when processing a first-time filer (or Dependant in your case).
 
Middle name = Edward
 
Example:
 
First name: John Edward
Last name: King
