Volunteer54 Posted April 7 Report Share Posted April 7 I have newcomers in Tax Clinic, who are filing for the first time in Canada. Arrived in Canada Sept.2023 When trying to EFILE, I got Code: 110-C and message that this is not the first return for this client. I noticed here someone else had the same issue, but didn't see option to resolve it, beyond to tell the client to print and send paper return. Geo123 Posted April 7 Report Share Posted April 7 Hello Volunteer54, Please contact the CRA at 1-800-959-8281 https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/corporate/contact-information.html The error may be similar to this error with the resolution as per CVITP : Newcomers and Err 110-B: Two of our regions have let us know that this is a huge issue for the newcomer groups. Individuals who only just arrived and filing for the first time are getting the ‘You already filed’ Rejection.
