GlenH
I received a one time lump sum payment from a 401k I hold in the US in 2023. How do I properly report this income, and the tax withheld in UFile? I think I should be using the "Foreign Income - Pension" page? I assume this gets reported as "Foreign lump-sum pension benefits"? I fill in the boxes for income and tax withheld, but what amount do I fill in for the "Income exempt under a tax treaty"? And I don't know what to select from the "Limit of foreign tax credit and deduction (T2209)" dropdown box. Thanks for any help you can provide.
