pardnme
I've entered all data for husband and wife in one file - sharing complete information (not the 'net income only' option). I've carriedforward the file from prior years and when I enter the childcare/daycare receipts, nothing is happening on the parents returns. Both individuals have income, the income is not be lowers, the child care schedules are not populating, I'm not getting any errors.
pardnme
I have figured it out. It's because the wife, who is the lower income earned was on Maternity leave. Mat leave (ei payments) don't qualify as earned income and therefore the child care expenses dont get applied
