Unable to transmit a return

I am filing as a volunteer with CRA however it should be the same as netfiling.  When I try to transmit the return (Efile) I receive the message "Unable to access internet. This may be due to a firewall or a virus protection program. I checked my security settings etc. and even called the ufile help desk however still receive the message. Using Internet Explorer  - any suggestions. Thanks.
