post_jen
Before I file with Ufile I cross-reference with another program. Everything is the except same except line 453. I even did schedule 6 manually and Line 453 was the exact value as the other program. With Ufile it says that I should get a 1,700 tax credit which is extremely high, I don't mind of course if that is correct, but it's just not possible, it's extremely high. Is there a way I can verify how Ufile calculated lined 453?
Gabriel
The Working Income Tax Benefit (WITB) is a refundable credit that is automatically generated by the program. If you are eligible to this credit, the amount is reported on line 453 of the federal tax return and federal Schedule 6 is generated by the program. You can see the Schedule 6 under the "Tax return" tab. For more information about the WITB, please consult the following link to the CRA website: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/wtb/menu-eng.html
Ell13
I get that it's automatically generated but based on what? What is the trigger ?
