Starbase
UFile has calculated a repayment of OAS that should not be as the income fall below the threshold. How do I fix this?
Curmudgeon
So your net income, line 23600, is < $70,054?

Curmudgeon
On your tax return, go to Worksheet (Federal) p2 and see what those numbers say.
Starbase
There is no page 2 for the worksheet (Federal) - but on page 1 Line 23200 it has OAS payments repaid = 7,364.
Curmudgeon
There is something wrong. If there is clawback, the calculations are shown on the worksheet. Double check data entry.
Starbase
You are a God Send. I had put in the Taxable pension paid (box18) and again in Overpayment recovered (Box20) which was meant to be in Box 19, which is not on the UFie form and I never noticed. I knew it was wrong, but couldn't find the error despite multiple checks on my part. Thank you for telling me to check my entries again.
