Barry1953 Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 I want to claim expenses from November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2023. When I enter expenses with a 2022 year end, they are ignored in the calculation. How do I fix this. Quote
clw Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 You can specify the start and end dates in the medical expenses dialogue. Also, make sure you use the same date format for the individual receipt entries. Quote
Geo123 Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 Hello Barry1953, How to enter medical 12 months consecutive / medical 12 months rolling In Interview go to Medical, disability, caregiver >> *Medical expenses *Sharing of medical expenses *Last date of medical expenses < = = HERE Last date of medical expenses By default, the program determines the last date of medical expenses as being December 31st of the tax year. If you wish to modify that date, please follow this procedure : 1- In the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select "Medical, disability, caregiver". 2- On the screen on your right, select the line "Last date of medical expenses". 3- On the page that appears, enter the last date as follows: DD-MM-YYYY. 4- If you change the last date of medical expenses in your file, you must also specify the last date of medical expenses for all family members. 5- Enter a brief description of the medical expenses in the first field indicating DD-MM-YYYY. Enter the amount in the field with a dollar sign. Quote
Barry1953 Posted April 22 Author Report Posted April 22 Not sure where you are finding the medical expenses dialogue, unless it is this. If so, I entered the date and it does not include anything that is not 2023. Quote
