  8. Hello JSP, If you wish to ensure that the carryforward information is indeed carried forward to the following year, then save your previous years completed tax return to PDF and resave the file. This action will ensure all carry forward information / amounts are carried forward to the next tax year. Please note you should only perform this action, saving to PDF, prior to starting your new tax return. If you carry forward a previous year to a file that has been completed, you risk overwriting the information already in your file. Please follow these steps: From the “My Files ” main menu first delete the current/new tax year. Launch the previous year’s return and go to the “Tax Return” tab 4. On the bottom of the Tax Return tab click on “Download PDF” Then click on “settings” in the upper right corner and “Save and Close” The page will jump to the “My Files” main menu. Create the new tax year by selecting “Create a new…” and click “Go!” Launch the new tax year and your information should be carried forward. Note: if you have paid for your tax return and you delete the file, the payment will also be deleted. In this case, please contact us and we will provide a voucher to replace the deleted payment.
  9. Hello, Please try later or at off-peak periods.

  12. Hello cherrywuuuu, You must contact the CRA, we have no way of knowing why CRA rejects it with an error. You cannot undo refile once you clicked the button but you don’t need to undo Just leave as and don’t file it (again). REFile mode can not be enabled unless already NetFiled - is not possible.
  13. Hello Entrobert, If the Dependant has income then you do not check net income is NIL.
  14. Hello dougobra Make sure you are using the latest NAC and not the prior year NAC (which may have been carried forward). Your unique Access code (8 characters) can be found on your Notice of Assessment (NOA) for a previous tax year. This eight-character Access code is made up of numbers and letters and is located on the right side of your NOA. The placement and labelling of the Access code differs slightly depending on the version of the NOA you are looking at, but will always be on the right side of the NOA. On the paper version of your NOA as well as the PDF version in My Account, the Access code is not labelled, but can be found directly underneath the Date issued at the top right of the page. If you are viewing your NOA in My Account or using the Express NOA service in certified tax software, the Access code is found directly under the Notice details box at the top right of the page. OR Call the CRA 800-959-7383 The NAC is not required to NetFile. While this Access code is not mandatory, if you do not enter your Access code, you will not be able to use any information from your 2023 tax return when confirming your identity with the Canada Revenue Agency. You will have to rely on other information for authentication purposes.
